What would be fair ? I just bought a truck recently.. thinking of CL'ing local shit where somebody needs a truck, and I have one.

Like I have to drive 5 miles to origination, help load it, secure it, drive it say 10 miles to where it is going, help unload.

What's that worth in cash ? The truck can be filled to capacity, throw in whatever other shit you want.

I want to be done in under 2 hours... what's it worth ? I'm mainly truck provider and driver, will help load... no additional insurance.

Canadian ?

I have to think $50 US, esp. if it takes 2 hours, but I'd probably do it for $40 to start.

I wouldn't make much getting $40 for the job, hard to do it in an hour, plus my gas.. I think $40 USD is a friendly price.

I think this needs better definition. Anything small job you try to do takes an hour at least !

I look at it in reverse.... I need to move a pickup load of shit, I don't think I get somebody to move it for $40.

I basically want like $20/hour for time +mileage, so I might be able to short move a load for $30-40 cash, not much less than that !

I think it would cost me at least $40-50 if I tried to hire a competitor to do it,but I might be wrong ?

I don't see how you could touch it for less than $40 min, and I'm not trying to rip anybody off. All I desire is fair compensation, and some side cash.

I think two hours of my time with a truck for $50 is cheap, on my gas, too !, pretty easily a fair deal.

Worth whatever a person will pay. Never price before you offer a service. Negotiation is key.

im in the furniture/moving buisness and when i do a move no matter how big or small i get a truck fee of $100(in town) and $50 an hour for me and $25 an hour for each person i bring with me but i rarely bring more than one person and ive called around other moving companys and im very cheap compared to them

everyone isn't poor like you, we would rather pay others to lift heavy shit for us, wash our cars, and mow our lawns

Is saving $40 worth getting a hernia?

all I'm saying is that I'd be willing to use the pickup to help a local resident ( lacking a truck) to move something.

I'd want something like $25/hour for my time, and a touch for gas.

I think I could make this work, give me $50 or so (cash) for a quick local move -it special that takes 90 minutes

If it's a friend, I'll give them the truck keys no problem... just return the truck with more gas than was in it when I loaned it to you ! If I have to help load the shit, then I may as well drive the truck too !

I'm not a bad guy, I'm not going to charge somebody a $100 minimum to move something... if it's a small job... $40-50... but don't make me wait !
